On December 3rd, 2018 Pegge Striewig joined her husband Bob, whose passing preceded hers by 15 years, on the day of what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary. She was a resident of Camp Hill until a year ago when she moved to the Homeland Center, Harrisburg.

Pegge is survived by her son Robert N Striewig, Jr of Mechanicsburg and daughter Pamela Bentz and son in-law Bruce, whom she considered a son, of Camp Hill; Grandchildren Brittany Bentz of Camp Hill, Haley Striewig of New Cumberland and Sam Striewig of Mechanicsburg, and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Morgan and Margaret Williams, Sister Jean Biehl, brothers Morgan Williams and Bobby Williams. And many many wonderful friends.
Nammy Nassau as she was called by her grandchildren instilled the love of travel and adventure in her family. Traveling was one of the most enjoyable activities she did with her husband and family, taking all of us many times to the Caribbean and all parts of Europe until Bob’s health started failing. Then their adventures became limited to the Bahamas.
Born May 13, 1929, in Harrisburg, PA, Pegge was a 1947 graduate of John Harris High School. A stay at home mom all her life, she enjoyed all her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and sports up until the last year of her life.
Pegge was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, where she was active in the Women of Trinity. She loved her membership in the Penn Cumberland Garden Club where for many years she worked with the junior gardeners.
Pegge was the past president and board member of the Camp Hill Women’s Club, member and board member of the Camp Hill Civic Club, member of the PA Questers, and past president and former board member of Claremont Farms Auxiliary. Pegge enjoyed her membership at the West Shore Country Club for 65 years.
All family and friends are invited to celebrate Pegge’s life and share a toast in her memory at her son Rob’s home, 1830 Red Spruce Ln., Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, Sunday December 16, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A private interment was held at the convenience of the family at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Columbarium. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Service, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
