Obituary for John N. Quigley

Print
John N. Quigley, 62, of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home.

Born on January 4, 1956 in Montoursville, he was the son of the late John and Norma (Grimes) Williamson.

John worked for XPO Logistics, formerly Excel Logistics, for 8 years as a Truck Driver.

John was a member of HOG, the Harley Owners Group, and the American Legion Post 109. John loved watching football and was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan. John also had a passion for cooking, grilling, and smoking meats, and enjoyed spending time with his family while preparing family meals. John was also the perfect Pappy and loved spending time with his granddaughter, Riley, and spoiling her with ice cream and lots of cookies. Riley was the light of his life!

John is survived by his loving wife, Beverly L. (Berry) Quigley, of Mechanicsburg; children Johnathan and Fiancé Kerri Castillo, and granddaughter Riley, of Carlisle, Kyle and Dana Berry of Gaithersburg, MD and Makara Berry of Baltimore MD.

All are welcome to attend a Celebration of John’s life being held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with Rev. Keith Searfoss officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in John’s honor to Disabled American Veterans.
