Marion Bange (Miller)
Marion A. Bange, 87, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Thursday January 25, 2018 at the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Born on December 12, 1930 in McSherrystown, PA, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Ethel A. (Hirt) Miller, and she was the widow of Calvin F. Bange.
Marion was a graduate of the former Conewago Chapel Elementary School. She went on to graduate from the Delone Catholic High School, in McSherrystown, PA. After high school she attended Nursing School. Marion was a longtime member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill. She participated in many of the church programs and volunteered her time by making home visitations for those who were ill or unable to come to church. She would deliver flowers and perform the rosary at local nursing homes and hospitals and also participated in Perpetual Adoration at St. Theresa’s Parish in New Cumberland, PA. Marion had a passion for Bowling and participated in several bowling leagues. She was known for her caring nature and always put her family before anything else.
She is survived by three sons, Steve Bange and his wife Lisa, of Harrisonburg, VA; Jeff Bange, of Camp Hill, PA; and Adam Bange and his wife Julie, of Brocton, IL; one daughter, Amy M. Stefancin-Stoner and her husband James, of Enola; three sisters, Marylou, Ethel and Barbie; eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a Son-In-Law, David A. Stefancin; a sister, “Sissy”, and three brothers, Philip, Cyril, and Jimmy.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday January 28, 2018 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. Philip Burger as Celebrant. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M on Tuesday January 30th in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore St, Hanover, PA.
FLOWER DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS: All flowers should be delivered to the church of the good shepherd on Sunday by 11 am.
