Condolences

Condolence From: Annette
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to each of you for your loss. Deep sorrow fills your hearts at this time. May you find comfort and strength in Almighty God. He is the Giver of life. It saddened him when we shed tears of sorrow. Through his Word he gives us comfort and hope for those who have fallen asleep in death.

Condolence From: The Family of Karl and Rose Marie Mattis
Condolence: John / Uncle John, we are so thankful that you were, and always will be a part of our lives. You are a man we all look up to with great admiration, memories and many laughs. You served your country with pride, from the Marines in the 1950s, to this day as a member of the VFW and American Legion. You were a loyal employee of Greyhound for many years, doing whatever it took to provide for your family. You are truly a Home Town Hero.
If we heard "John / Uncle John" was coming to an event, to Camp or simply over the house, we were all excited! You leave us with many fond memories. We will never forget your trademark, clinching your fist....hitting the table and saying......Geeeeeezzzzzzz.
You will be greatly missed! Thank you for being the person that you were.
We love you!
The entire family of Karl & Rose Marie Mattis

Condolence From: Bob Mattis
Condolence: Dad, you were a wonderful example of a man and I am so proud to have you as my father; you taught me so much without ever saying a word; you were gentle, humble, hardworking and generous; I know you loved all four of your children and mom; and you were an outstanding dogsitter always sacrificing your comfort for our 3 pugs; Thank you for attending my games when work allowed and and my sons' games during your retirement, and for taking an interest in their education; I will cherish my memories of you at family gatherings and during our hunting seasons together; I will miss you and will always honor your memory; I love you, Dad; your son, Bob.

Condolence From: Sally A Searfass
Condolence: To my dearest brother John, you have become such an important part of my life these last 25 years. I want to thank you for being my confidant and for sharing with me your feelings as a youth growing up in Elizabethville. My heart breaks when I think about no longer receiving your phone calls where we would talk for hours. I will always treasure those calls, just as I treasure the closeness that developed between us. Rest in Peace my brother. I love you. Sally
